  Once again in 2026, Havnegade and Danmarksgade were filled with unique works of art by award-winning and world-renowned artists. Here, artists Bakr, Matilde Digmann, ZEAN, Lost.Optics, Elras and Mester88 painted on gables, the bridge by Havnegade and on canvas.

  About the artworks 2025

  In connection with the DGI Landsstævne 2025 in Vejle from 3–6 July, 18 artworks were created by a total of 20 different artists on Vestre Engvej.

  The artworks were created by: Mandi Oh, Rikke Lydeking, Malpegados, Bates, MOTS, Talu, Alex Kanos, Ajax Piper, Ruído, Yukiko Izumi, Stine Bjerregård & Rikke Sølyst, Malakkai, Rubis, Miss Teal, VODAWOTAH, SuperWizer, Phuc Van Dang and the Danish Design and Craft Efterskole.

  About the works of 2024

  The artists behind the works created in 2024 are a good mix of local, national, and international artists who together have created a spectacular showcase of street art in all its forms. In total, 13 talented artists participated in creating the works. The artists came from Vejle, Copenhagen, Aarhus, Italy, France, Australia, and Germany.

  The works were created by: Bond Truluv, Britta Egebjerg, Peter Dam, Laila Dianne Vangsgaard, Hege Dalsgaard, Dagmar Petersen, Invisibly, George Rose, Dina Lea, Chaldea, Giuseppe Amed, Andreas Welin.

  In 2024, Vejle Street Art was created in collaboration with Edit & Gotfred Kirk Christiansens Fond, IZA, Tortilla Flats, Nordsjö, Schuller Eh’Klar, MTN Montana Colours, Drips CPH, Graffiti Bible.

  About the works of 2023

  The artists behind the works created in 2023 included 11 local artists and 4 guest artists. A total of 15 works were created on the previously empty gables and walls of the parking lot behind Føtex in the pedestrian street. From scissor lifts and scaffolding, gables and walls were painted with beautiful motifs and words - all under the theme 'we give more than we take'.

  The works were created by the artists: Berit Bærentsen, Britta Egebjerg, Danail Kraev, Jens Jacobsen, Jonathan (Facio), Jules Leduc, Junette Bay, Nanna Nør, Olivia Linn, Stine Ofelia, Maria Tonsgaard, Eske Touborg, Christoffer Bukh, Peter Skensved, and Jens Stentoft. Come by and experience the transformation from the boring empty walls and gables to great street art.

  In 2023, Vejle Street Art was created in collaboration with City Vejle, Føtex, EWII, PIFT, Nordsjö, MTN Montana Colours, Artusbyg, and Stark.

  Gorilla Park Vejle

  The obstacle courses in Gorilla Park are of varying heights and difficulty and offer experiences for everyone regardless of physique or adventurous spirit. Here you can go treetop swinging like Tarzan and Jane for hours on end.

  Gorilla Park Vejle’s easiest course is only 1½ metres above ground, featuring small, easy obstacles. The level of difficulty then increases, which is reflected in the course number. The most challenging course is the Alpha course!

  Treetop climbing requires no special qualifications other than the desire to have fun and a fondness for outdoor activities in scenic surroundings.

  Gorilla Park Vejle uses the patented and award-winning SSB fall-stop snap-clip system. Before heading out on a climb you will receive expert safety and behavioural guidance by a qualified instructor. Then the jungle adventure is all yours.

  The options are many, including snowboarding, cycling and treetop Tarzan swinging through the forest. In total, Gorilla Park Vejle has over 2 km of obstacle courses, featuring more than 100 different climbing elements and several zip lines.

  Gorilla Park offers group instructions on the hour (last instruction four hours before closing) for a maximum of 30 people per group. It is therefore recommended that you book no later than 21:00 the day before your visit so you are sure of a place. Doing so will also grant you a discount.

  In 2018, the popular Gorilla Big Swing, re-opened! You are hoisted up to 15 meters after which you pull the pin that activates a free-fall before you glide onto the big swing.   Bunker Museum in Fredericia - a piece of Danish history

  During Denmark's Occupation from 1940 to 1945, around 5,800 shelters were built in Denmark, of which 70 were established in Fredericia. The Bunker Museum is located in one of these 70 civilian shelters. The bunker is a double bunker with two domes, both of which are furnished as museums with exhibits and descriptions of life in the bunker and in Fredericia during the Occupation.

  The special exhibition in the bunker is created in collaboration between the Fredericia Military History Association and the Museum Fredericia, and it is the Fredericia Military History Association that conducts tours of the bunker during the Bunker Museum's opening hours.

  Your walk on the bridge starts at Bridgewalking Lillebælt's welcome centre at Galsklintvej 2 in Middelfart. Here Bridgewalking Lillebælt's knowledgeable tour guides will welcome you and prepare you for the fantastic trip you are about to embark on. Together you'll walk from the welcome centre to the Old Little Belt Bridge, where you'll be connected to a safety system – and then it's uphill from there!

  The walk is about 2.5 km long, and it is a requirement that participants are in reasonably good physical shape, as there are some steps along the way. No items are allowed on the bridge, and all pockets must be emptied. You are therefore not allowed to bring phones or cameras on the tour – but don't worry, your guide will bring a phone and will take photos of you along the way, which you can download afterwards. You can lock your small belongings, such as your wallet, keys or phone, in a safety box while you're on the bridge.

  Tickets, prices and parking

  Tickets: Tickets can be purchased at the welcome centre and online. We recommend that you buy tickets online to make sure you get the tour you want. 

  Free parking: Parking is available at Galsklintvej 2, 5500 Middelfart, right next to the welcome centre. 

  Food and drink at Bridgewalking Lillebælt

  You can buy hot and cold drinks to enjoy before or after your walk on the bridge. These are sold at the welcome centre, where you can also see a small exhibition about the area surrounding Little Belt and the Old Little Belt Bridge and buy various souvenirs from Bridgewalking Lillebælt. The welcome centre also has tables and benches where you can enjoy a packed lunch, a fire pit with seating and a large nature playground. It is not possible to buy food from Bridgewalking Lillebælt.

  CLAY Museum Of Ceramic Art Denmark

  A unique specialist museum for ceramic art, craft and design

  The windows face the water. The light from Lillebælt fills the room and meets the ceramic works. Glazes glimmer.

  CLAY is the Nordic region's largest museum for ceramic art, craft and design – situated on the edge of the belt in the listed manor villa Grimmerhus from 1857. Underground, changing exhibitions unfold with works by major Danish and international ceramicists.

  Deepest inside, the light shifts. In the underground Treasury, Flora Danica stands alongside figurines, faience and stoneware: 235 years of Danish porcelain history from Den Kgl. Porcelainsfabrik, Bing & Grøndahl and Aluminia. In total, the museum spans 2,500 m².

  Outside, the sculpture park looks out over the bridges. Café CLAY serves lunch with the belt in front of you.

  There are free parking spots at the museum and at the CLAY Shop you can take ceramics home with you.
