Hindsgavl Deer Park
The Hindsgavl Peninsula and Deer Park offer a unique natural area close to one of Denmark’s most scenic coastlines. In a historic manor landscape dating back to the 13th century, a network of trails winds through the surroundings, making it easy for everyone – including visitors with prams or wheelchairs – to explore the area. There are also excellent opportunities to plan your route to suit your preferences.
The Short Deer Trail – 1.6 km - A brief walk with a high chance of spotting the deer.
Red Trail – 6 km - A medium-length route passing the manor, forest, and northern coastline of the peninsula. Half of the walk is inside the deer park, and half is outside.
Blue Trail – 9.5 km - The long circular route through forest, along the coast, and partly through the deer park. Most attractions are passed along the way, and the likelihood of seeing deer is high.
There are also areas in the park with seating and barbecue facilities, perfect for enjoying a packed lunch in nature.

Deer Garden in Kongebro Forest
The deer park in Kongebroskoven is an enclosed wildlife park near Hotel Comwell Kongebrogaarden and at the foot of the Old Little Belt Bridge, with a fine population of fallow deer. There are covered tables with benches for picnics and an open grill available for free use. Toilets are located at the nearby Kongebro Harbour. Entrance to the park is free, dogs should naturally be kept on a leash, and care should be taken to respect the well-being of the animals.
Note: Dogs are not allowed on Kobakken.
