Although Horsens is a lively city, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with nature. Just a short distance from the center, you’ll find Bygholm Lake and Bygholm Park, where you can take a stroll or enjoy a picnic surrounded by nature. Horsens is also a beautiful fjord town, and a walk along the newly renovated harbor to Langelinie – the city’s own beach – offers spectacular views of Horsens Fjord. Nature lovers will also enjoy Nørrestrand, a wildlife reserve just outside the city, where you can experience bird and animal life. The scenic trails here are perfect for both walking and cycling.
