Get up close and personal with the animals

GIVSKUD ZOO is a versatile and impressive attraction that is always a sure hit with the whole family. There is plenty of space for both animals and visitors here, and you can safely allocate a whole day for your visit. There is quite a lot to experience before heading back home.

In the large safari park, you can drive around in your own car or safari bus among the wild animals, which roam freely. It is a truly special experience to see the animals up close. Additionally, you can also walk among the animals in the zoo. Along the way, you'll encounter lions, giraffes, bisons, Barbary apes, and many others. As the only place in Denmark, you can also experience gorillas, spectacled bears, and giant otters.

As something new, you can now also see active Humboldt penguins diving into the waves, swimming underwater, and waddling around on land in Europe's largest penguin enclosure.

 

Explore the world of dinosaurs

In Denmark's largest dinosaur park, you can admire more than 50 of the giants of the past in natural size. Meet, among others, the 40-meter-long "long-neck" and the terrifyingly lifelike T-Rex. See the lifelike adult dinosaurs and their cute newly hatched young and learn more about these fascinating prehistoric creatures.

GIVSKUD ZOO - ZOOTOPIA is a complete experience that, in addition to the many animals, also offers exciting dining options, several playgrounds and activities for children, a brand new Baby Service Center, and even the possibility of overnight accommodation. The park also has several exciting special exhibitions, including "The Global Goals Park" and "Death's Cabin," which are also a natural and educational part of the experience at GIVSKUD ZOO.

 

Close to the east coast of Jutland

Located just 40 minutes from Horsens, 45 minutes from Juelsminde, and 1 hour from Odder, GIVSKUD ZOO is definitely worth a visit on a family vacation in Kystlandet.

 

Buy your ticket

On GIVSKUD ZOO's website, you can buy tickets and annual passes to the park. A ticket provides access to both the zoo, safari park, and dinosaur park. By purchasing a ticket or annual pass, you also support Givskud Zoo Naturfond with 10 DKK. Your contribution helps support nature conservation projects around the world.
