To mark the 150th anniversary of the Himmelbjerg Tower, you can now experience nature from a new perspective – framed like a painting! Across the hilly landscape of the Lake Highlands (Søhøjlandet), nine large golden frames have been set up, each capturing views that once inspired some of Denmark’s greatest landscape painters.
The stunning viewpoints have been carefully selected and placed exactly where artists like Vilhelm Kyhn and F.C. Kiærschou once stood, brush in hand, capturing the beauty of the landscape. Now it's your turn to experience their motifs – with your own eyes.
Please note: The frames are temporary and will be removed on August 13, 2025.
