Brædstrup's green oasis
You can visit the city's green oasis, located between the hustle and bustle of the train station and restaurants and Ring Skov. Brædstrup's old park has been renovated and beautified, providing a perfect setting for play, activity, relaxation, and contemplation. The park is divided into different zones with several seating areas and play areas.
The park's many play equipment are scattered throughout the park. There is a climbing frame, an area with swings, and a couple of zones with playground facilities for young children. There are also petanque courts, tennis courts, and outdoor fitness equipment.
Near the main entrance by the train station, there is a lake with great opportunities for relaxation and enjoying your packed lunch. A fire pit and a toilet building are in the northeast corner.
Brædstrup's new activity park
An immediate extension of the park is the activity park, on the outskirts of Ring Skov. Here, an outdoor school and playgrounds have been created for both small and big children. Surrounded by forest, you can venture out on the park's large jungle-gym and try the new zip line. The activity park is the best area in town for outdoor play.

You can find the main entrance to the activity park on Skovvejen, but it is also possible to get to the activity park through the park.
Combine with other experiences in the area
The park is located right next to Brædstrup's town center, where there are several exciting specialty shops and restaurants. From the entrance, you can see Restaurant Rummelig, which both serve delicious dishes for lunch and a good cup of coffee with cake in the afternoon.
Alongside the parks runs the popular cycle and hiking route Naturstien Horsens-Silkeborg. If you follow this for seven kilometers, you will come to one of Denmark's most popular natural attractions, The Uncovered Bridge. If you would like to experience more nature, you can take a walk through Ring Skov, where there is also a dog forest, where man's best friend can roam free. Alternatively, you can take a walk around the nearby Ring Lake, which also has a nice beach.
